A: This course is for anyone who works with or around infants and children. It’s ideal for teachers, school staff, camp counselors, foster parents, babysitters, coaches, bus drivers, afterschool staff, and other non-healthcare professionals who want to be prepared for pediatric emergencies.

A: The course includes:
• Infant, child, and adult CPR

• First aid for bleeding, sprains, burns, allergic reactions, asthma, and more
• Emergency scene safety and when to call 911

A: Yes. The class is taught by an AHA-certified Heartsaver Instructor and follows the AHA 2020 Guidelines. Students receive a two-year Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification upon successful completion.

A: The course takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, depending on group size and student participation. This includes interactive instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on practice.

A: Classes are available 7 days a week at Attentive Safety locations in Marietta and Doraville. On-site group training is also available for schools, organizations, and community programs.

A: The course costs $100 per person. A $25 walk-in fee applies if you register less than 24 hours before class time.

A: Yes. All participants must bring the 2020 edition of the AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Student Workbook. You can purchase it when registering or bring your own.
