At Attentive Safety, we provide training on the Emergency Use of Medical Oxygen. Our program focuses on teaching individuals how to effectively administer emergency medical oxygen to both breathing and non-breathing individuals using various oxygen delivery systems. Join us to learn the essential skills needed to handle emergency situations and provide life-saving assistance.
This course is for adult First Aid and adult and child CPR AED providers and/or Basic Life Support (BLS) trained healthcare providers, professional rescuers, or public safety providers working in a wide variety of occupational settings who desire or are required to be certified in the emergency use of medical oxygen.
⦁ How to assess for oxygen deficiency in an emergency situation
⦁ The signs and symptoms of mild, moderate, and severe hypoxia
⦁ Correct use of a pulse oximeter
⦁ How to set up an emergency medical oxygen delivery system
⦁ Appropriate oxygen saturation levels
⦁ How to monitor SpO2
⦁ Helping responsive and unresponsive persons
⦁ How to give medical oxygen in an emergency to an adult/child and infant using an appropriate bag-mask device (BLS providers only)
