Q: Who should take this BLS Provider Course?
A: This course is ideal for Certified Healthcare Assistants, CNAs, medical assistants, and support staff working in hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities who need CPR and emergency response training.
Q: Is this course AHA approved?
A: Yes. Our course follows the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines and provides a 2-year BLS Provider certification card upon successful completion.
Q: What will I learn in this course?
A: You’ll learn how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, use an AED, relieve choking, and coordinate with emergency responders in clinical settings.
Q: How long is the course?
A: The course lasts approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes and includes hands-on training and assessments.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Yes. You must bring the 2020 AHA BLS Provider Manual. You can also choose to add Heartsaver First Aid during registration.
Q: Where are the classes held?
A: We offer training at our Marietta and Doraville locations. Classes are available seven days a week.
Q: Is there a deadline to register?
A: Yes. Payment must be received at least 24 hours prior to class. Late registrations are subject to a $25 fee.
