Alpharetta, Georgia ACLS Skills Session DescriptionAttentive Safety provides the ACLS Skills Session, which teaches the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance teams, continuous high-quality CPR, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
In these busy times, some people prefer taking the first part of their ACLS instruction in the blended learning format offered by the American Heart Association. These courses are offered for initial or renewal training, and they have the same completion requirements that the classroom based equivalent courses do. All the blended learning options include access to the related E-textbook in the price of the course. Students who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate that allows them entrance into a skills practice and testing session. You must bring your certificate of completion of Part 1 to your skills session in order to receive your certification card. Passing the Megacode TestAt the end of the course, students will participate in a Megacode Testing Station to validate their achievement of the course objectives. A simulated case scenario will evaluate the following:
ACLS Provider CardACLS Skills Session is a credentialed course. Providers who successfully complete the ACLS course receive a course completion card valid for two years.
Who Needs ACLS Provider Certification?Attentive Safety CPR and Safety Training's ACLS Provider classes are for healthcare providers who work in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. These requirements are driven by state licensing board regulations and detail which particular healthcare agencies or individual healthcare license holders that are required to maintain ACLS Provider certification. This class can also be taken by medical professionals or students in a medical program who are interested in expanding their knowledge.

Continuing Education Credits for EMS Professionals
Attentive Safety CPR and Safety Training is now able to offer Continuing Education credits through CAPCE (Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education) for EMS professionals. This continuing education activity is approved by the American Heart Association, an organization accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE), for 2.25 Basic CEHs, activity number 18-AMHA-F2-0001.
